    Our Story

    The pace of disruptive technologies is accelerating, and we may be confronted with complexities. As a result, the Poly Libraries saw the need for the Poly Communities to adapt, embrace and leverage on digital opportunities in the sphere of our lives.

    Together, the Poly Libraries bring you a suite of competencies under Digital Life @ PolysTM one-stop framework on cognitive skills, emerging technologies, safety & wellness and staying ahead. Our offerings include e-Learning packages, learning journeys, curated guides and Power Up!

    With a space spanning 7,000sqm, NYP Library houses different zones to cater for individual study and collaborative work, with easy access to learning tools and technology. Navigate your way using our Library Map!

    Finding resources to help your learning is also easy, thanks to our user-friendly Library Portal! Enjoy free access to the wide array of resources via the Library Portal. It’ll definitely be a saviour for your projects!

    FR Gantry

    With Facial Recognition (FR), entering the library is a breeze. Look directly at the FR camera (be sure to keep your mask on!) for the system to detect your face. The gantry will open upon recognition.

    Self-Study Zone

    Spanning levels 6 to 8, the Self-Study Zone is a quiet area that houses our Open Shelf collection, including Level 6 which has fiction, magazines and newspapers. You may even see Robbie, our inventory robot, quietly scanning the shelves!

    Pods

    Need a space to discuss your projects? Fret not, the Group Study Zone at levels 4 and 5 has sixteen Pods. Book a Pod in advance to secure your slot. Find out more here!

    Located at level 9, gain insights into TP's growth and accolades received over the last 30 years. Pen your best TP memory at the Memory Wall, or hang out at the Colliseum to watch short films produced by your peers. Click to view a 360° virtual tour.

    Assistive Technology

    Students with special educational needs will be able to test and borrow assistive technology devices at level 2. These include devices for assistive listening, augmentative communication and visual aids. Click here for more information.

    Sign in to TP Archives to search, browse and download past examination papers. Search under the Exam Paper collection. Do note that only the current seven years papers are available and answers are not provided.

    Project Advisory Service

    Stuck with your project? Make an appointment with our friendly librarians to get help with searching for reliable information sources! Do avoid submitting this form in the last minute!

    Document Delivery

    Document Delivery Service is available to all students to obtain journal articles or book chapters not held by the library. Requests must be for study or research purposes and supported by your lecturer. Submit your request here!
